Award winning family run apiary set in the beautiful, picturesque Peak District village of Eyam. Once belonging to Eyam Hall’s estate, our small holding is now privately owned and is home to our expanding bee family!

A beautiful idyllic setting with views of the rolling hillside and of the Chatsworth Hunting Tower.

We make our honey on site and bee related goodies including beeswax candles, wax melts and giftware . We also have our own range of natural soaps and balms made with Hope Valley Honey & Beeswax.

We currently have 6 apiary sites across the Hope Valley which include, Calver, Grindleford, Hope and Hathersage.

We are ethical beekeepers caring for our bees, taking only excess honey and beeswax. We are part of a local organization which helps to educate fellow beekeepers and registered with the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA) We hold the BBKA Distinction in Apiculture.

We are a family of four with our 'little bees' helping us on our day to day running of the apiary. Join us on our journey of our wonderful beekeepers life!

Christmas at Chatsworth Farm Shop 2024

We are very excited to share with you all, that our Hope Valley Honey, beeswax products and gift sets are now available to buy from the beautifully decorated Chatsworth Farm Shop Christmas Marquee. The marquee is now open for the festive season, full of wonderful food, drink, and gifts.

World Bee Day 2024

Mr. Bee went to visit Castleton Primary School to talk about the importance of bees to our world, and conservation. The children enjoyed dressing up as a beekeeper, rolling their own candles to take home and honey tastings. We look forward to our return with our observation hive and trying to spot the Queen Bee!

Chatsworth Christmas Honey Tastings December 2023

We were delighted to be asked to run a honey tasting session for Chatsworth Farm Shop in the beautiful Christmas Marquee A lovely atmosphere and had a wonderful festive feel.

National Trust Group Talk 2023

We enjoyed giving a talk to the National Trust group which included our lives as beekeepers, beekeeping through the seasons, and conservation.

Honey Awards 2022

We are thrilled to say our honey is now Award Winning! We won 1st prize for our Hope Valley Honey from the Peak District and gained 7 awards in total which also includes our quality beeswax. Well done to everyone involved.

Chatsworth Bees 2021

We got the call from Chatsworth to ask if we could help to remove a swarm of bees that had made their home there, which wasn't in an ideal place! We took the bees back to our apiary and they have been one of our most strongest and productive hives. So much so , that we decided to breed from the Queen, the hive is still going strong and so are the new Daughters to the Queen! The 'Chatsworth Bees' are doing well.

HOPE VALLEY HONEY

Our Award Winning Hope Valley Honey from the Peak District, straight from the hive. Our honey is non blended and non heat treated to give you a full flavoured honey. A true taste of the Hope Valley.

We also make special edition honey of Honeycomb and Cinnamon.

BEESWAX CANDLES

Our candles are made from 100% pure beeswax from our hives, each one unique in colour as it is a natural product. Beeswax candles are known for their health properties and can help purify the air. Non toxic, and no 'nasties'. More than just a candle. (They also look pretty!)
